I started Wagenswest around 2000 when I figured out that I could sell the same part I had been building for myself for years. I moved up from the inland empire to Salem, Oregon in 1993. When I got to Oregon, I found a ton of VW buses that the hippies brought up during the 60’s and 70’s. What does a boy from east LA do with a bus? He kicks the hippie out, slams it, then goes and scrapes off road reflectors.
