1955-67 vw bus offset air bag plates

These plates are intended to be used with the torsion springs as an air spring helper. The idea is that you index your torsions to the lowest that you want your bus to sit, so that the weight of the vehicle is on the torsions when it is slammed. Then you use the air bags to lift and drive.

 When installing these you will have to cut about 1.25 x 8 inch strip off each side of the cradle in order to fit the bags. You will also need to weld in the top bag mounts.

 These plates will give you  approximately  4.5 inches of lift “rolling”.
